Cooper Clears His Crib

Cooper was "taking a nap" on Friday. He started to fuss a little so I went to check on him. Here's what I found!




By the way, after he got the blanket and binkie back, he took a 2 hour nap!

Chocolate Bunny

We started our Easter weekend with our friends Ann and Maddie at the Easter Egg Hunt at the Governor's Residence. We had a great time and Cooper loved his eggs!


Then on Easter morning we were greeters for a wonderful service our church holds at the Fairgrounds. Cooper was a wonderful greeter and loved watching all of the kids.

When church was over, the Easter bunny brought Cooper a bucket full of fun bath toys, a couple of new Husker shirts, some Wonderpets and a Wonderpets DVD and a new bowl and spoon set!


We went out for lunch with Chad's mom and dad. After a long nap, Cooper had his first Chocolate Bunny. There's a cute little video at the end of the post so you can see him enjoying his treat!

We had a little party this afternoon to celebrate Cooper's first birthday. Everyone had a GREAT time!

Baskets by Day and Dirt by Night

Yesterday afternoon I thought that the noises coming from the living room sounded a little different. When I peeked around the corner I found this:


Cooper had crawled into his toy basket.
He was having a great time.

This is how he got out. (Still not sure how he got in!)


Then last night, Chet and Diane came and brought up a couple of trees to plant for shade in our side yard. It was starting to get dark as Chet and Chad were finishing up. But, Cooper put on his camo hat and went outside to help. He loved playing in the dirt and had a great time!

St. Patty's Day, Slides and Stuff!

Here's a picture of our cute little Cooper on St. Patrick's Day. Isn't he sweet? Christy Schegg bought him the sweet little green, "Kiss Me I'm Cute" shirt.


I made a quick trip to Hastings on Sunday with Cooper. Our good friends the Gengenbach's had some fabulous toys their kids aren't using anymore. They were so wonderful to send them home with us. As you can see by this quick video. Cooper thinks this slide is about the best toy ever!




And finally, our wonderful friends the Carters brought home a beautiful baby girl last week. Gianna Melisa Marie is doing well and her birthmother signed all of the paperwork today. Cooper and I were able to meet the baby on Friday. Gianna joins her big brother Jadeon who was 2 last month. She's sweet and wonderful and an amazing addition to this terrific family. We're thrilled for all of them. Here are a couple of quick pics one of Jadeon and another of Cooper and I with Gianna.
