Cooper and Dylan

Cooper and I are in Phoenix visiting my best friend since 3rd grade!
This is Kim's son Dylan. Dylan and Cooper are just 2-1/2 months apart. Dylan turned 1 last week. This is Kim's daughter Ashley. She's 4 and a total crack up. Reminds me so much of her mom!
We took the kids to the zoo yesterday. Here is Cooper and Dylan watching Kim and Ashley on the carousel. We're having a wonderful time!

Stinky Baby

Ok, so this may not be the most tasteful video I've ever published to the blog. But, his laugh in this video just kills me. He thinks this is hilarious. Just watch and you'll see what I mean!

Cooper Update - 9 months

Things happen so fast these days I haven't had time to update the blog! I'll post some pictures that I took of Cooper celebrating 9 months. (Wow!) He hasn't been to the Dr. for his official 9 month visit yet, so we still don't have a recent height. (Though he's well past my knees.) We did have him weighed last week when he went in to check on his cold and he's 22.5 pounds! Hope that all is well for you - our lives are pretty great!

Here he is standing up on one of his toys.

He LOVES the story time chair that Sagehorns got him for Christmas.

Here you can see how many teeth he has. 3 - almost 4 - on the bottom and 4 on the top.

Here's a quick video from this morning. He was laughing at me and pulled himself right up with the kitchen chair. He's getting SO BIG!

Coop loves noodles!

Cooper had his fill of noodles last night when Chad and I cooked up some angel hair pasta for dinner.

He LOVED it, though it was a bit difficult for him to shovel them into his mouth as fast as he would have liked.

There was a fair amount of pasta in his chair and his tummy. To be more accurate, his bib should probably have said, "Noodle Magnet" instead of "Chick Magnet!"

Oh yeah - and the dogs devoured clean up duty!

I couldn't resist posting this video. A really nice mommy would have helped Cooper to remove the noodle from his forehead. However, for some reason I found the whole thing really funny. I hope you do too!

Best Christmas EVER!

There's no other way to describe it! It was the best Christmas we've ever had. All day I just kept thinking, "my cup runneth over!" Here are pictures from our wonderful Christmas.

We spent Christmas Eve with Chad's mom and dad. We went to church and then to their house to exchange gifts. It was wonderful. Such a fun night.

Yes, Cooper and I have matching PJ's! They were actually pretty cute! Thanks Grandma!

We came home and got up on Christmas morning to open presents with just Chad, Cooper and I. Santa brought Coop the Fisher Price Laugh and Learn Kitchen and Living Room set. (SO many great presents - this one is still in the box!) Then my mom and Chris came with more presents - including 'Star' the new rocking pony. I think Cooper's favorite gift is a Curious George Jack-In-the-Box. (If you don't count the bows, tissue paper and dog toys.) He laughs every time George pops up!

I can't imagine there's ever been a child so loved and SO lavished with presents. We're all so excited and he's just too fun to buy for! Enjoy the pictures.

We hope you all had a very Merry Christmas and we wish you a Very Happy New Year!
Love,
Kiersten, Chad and Christmas Cooper

Does Santa Bring Ceiling Fans?

Cooper gives Santa his Christmas list!

Cooper had his first visit with the big man in red on Sunday night. He didn't scream and cry like a lot of the other kids, but could not have been LESS interested in Santa! He found the ceiling fan much more intriguing. So, we're going to assume that he's not disinterested, just very advanced and trying to tell Santa he would really like a ceiling fan for Christmas!

Can't wait, just a couple more weeks!

Here comes Santa Claus, Here comes Santa Claus.......
