Christmas 2010

Cooper had a WONDERFUL Christmas!
Here are a few highlights.

A new 'balance bike' and the Toy Story Train.
Waiting for Christmas wears a boy/pirate out!

Christmas Eve race track. I think Daddy had as much fun with this present as Cooper did!

Christmas morning he woke up to find his requested Pirate Ship and Drums! Rock on!

We hope that Christmas was as fun and full for all of our family and friends as it was for us. An amazing weekend full of wonder, surprises and bountiful blessings!

Christmas Eve 2010

Here's a picture of the letter he asked me to write to Santa. When Cooper woke up, the cookies were eaten, the carrots were gone and his requested toys were left by the fireplace. Santa also wrote him a little note in return.

Cooper Visits Santa 2010

Cooper visited Santa Clause this year and was such a VERY big boy! Here's a rough transcript of the conversation.

Santa: What's your name?

Cooper: I'm Coopie.

Santa: How old are you?

Cooper: I 2.

Santa: Have you been a good boy this year?

Cooper: Yes.

Santa: What would you like for Christmas?

Cooper: PRESENTS!

Santa: That's terrific, but what kind of presents?

Cooper: I want a Pirate Ship.

Santa: Ok, a Pirate Ship. Anything else?

Cooper: Some drums.

Santa: (casts a questioning eye to mom, but I gave the OK nod.) Well, you keep being a good boy and I will see if the elves can get those things made for you.

Cooper: Ok.

Santa: Will you leave some cookies out for me and some food for my reindeer?

Cooper: OK.

Santa: You be a good boy

Cooper: Ok, thank you, Santa.

As we got ready to leave, Coop through a fit about wearing his coat. I reminded him that Santa was watching --- right there! He wore his coat.

Our Little Lamb

Cooper was in his first church Christmas program this year!
His age group all played lambs in the program. Isn't he cute??

We're pretty sure it's the first Church program we've ever been to when two lambs got into a tussle and knocked over the manger, nearly spilling the baby Jesus on the steps of the alter. But, it was very funny!
Here's a pic of the whole group after the program!
